How sealed works

In sealed, every player opens six boosters and builds a deck of at least 40 cards from that pool plus any number of basic lands. Most decks run 17 lands and 23 spells in two colors. It's the format played at prereleases, where a new set is played for the first time before its official release.

A good pool usually comes down to three things: a few strong rares or mythics, enough removal, and a steady number of creatures in your best two colors. The simulator sorts your pool by color so those questions are quick to answer.
